10 smart tips for charging lithium batteries:

1. Read the manual beforehand regarding specific tips for your battery.
2. Only use your original battery charger.
3. Charge your battery preferably during the day.
4. Place your battery in a free, stable and non-flammable place during charging.
5. Disconnect the charger when the battery is charged.
6. Use smoke detectors in the room where you charge your battery.
7. Do not expose your battery and charger to freezing temperatures or full sun.
8. Preferably charge and store your battery and charger at room temperature.
9. Do you use your battery infrequently? Charge it according to the manufacturer's guidelines (or at least once every three months).
10. Has your battery been dropped, damaged or deformed? If so, do not store it indoors and return it as soon as possible.
